Hintergrund:
Der Sketch wurde 1966 aufgezeichnet.
Die Geschichte:
Seit nunmehr über 30 Jahren muß der arme alte
Butler James am Silvesterabend bei der Geburtstagsfeier
seiner Arbeitgeberin Miss Sophie in die Rollen der
längst verstorbenen Ex-Liebhaber Sir Toby, Admiral von
Schneider, Mr. Winterbottom und Mr. Pommeroy
schlüpfen. Immer und immer wieder muß James mit
Miss Sophie auf ihr Wohl anstossen. Am Ende der Party ist
er sternhagelvoll aber immer noch galant und er begleitet
Miss Sophie in ihr Schlafzimmer. Er verspricht, sein Bestes
zu tun. Aber lesen und sehen Sie (Silvester im TV)
